St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Camarillo, California, is a relatively small, mature congregation that seeks a full-time, engaging and inspiring Rector dedicated to helping us to evolve into a multi-generational congregation. In today’s environment, not known for growing churches, we seek a forward-thinking Rector to guide us as we navigate into the future while continuing to grow in God’s love and becoming more fully God’s people.
We seek a Rector who challenges us and encourages us; someone who provides meaningful pastoral care; someone who is as dedicated as we are to welcoming all; someone who will join us in our outreach to our community and beyond.
We seek a Rector who embraces our Children’s Learning Center, our Preschool – its children and their families and its staff.
We seek a Rector who has strong and compassionate communication and management skills; someone who can articulate a clear vision for our congregation; someone who will welcome change and enthusiastically lead with us, from faith into action.
We seek a Rector who will laugh with us and cry with us; someone who will work with us and play with us. We’ve enjoyed putting on BBQ’s and a Celtic Faire for the parish and the community and we enjoy other activities like Wine Fest.
Camarillo is located about an hour northwest of L.A. and is a family friendly community. We are part of the Diocese of Los Angeles.
